  BNC Connector

A connector for a coaxial cable designed to lock two ends together when one end is inserted into the other and turned 90 degrees. Found at the back of most EIZO displays for connection of the video cable to the computer. A coaxial cable is designed to minimize the electrical and radio frequency interference emitted from the cable on nearby electrical components; and to guard against similar effects emitted from those components on the signal carried in the cable itself.
