| In March 2002 staff started to move from smaller
offices to the flagship Portland Square office. This meant a brand
new office design from a formal office layout to a more informal,
open plan layout. Part of this re-design, meant replacing the current
CRT monitors with new LCD monitors throughout. |

| An evaluation then took place by the IT Team of 3
LCD manufacturers, heading up the evaluation process was Keith Gregoriou,
Technical Manager. The Board of Directors as well as the Head of Finance,
The Chairman, Corporate Services Team and office Design Team, were
asked for their input also. |

| Some people required monitors which could be used
at different heights, which is where the EIZO height adjustment stands
were utilized. The panel had to fit in with the corporate look and
feel image of the company and offices, so the EIZO panel was the perfect
choice. |

| When the EIZO 16" L465 was placed next to the
competitors, it immediately won over the evaluators on the aesthetics
alone! When the specification fitted the requirement, Keith Gregoriou
and his team knew they had found the perfect screen! |

 Keith
needed LCDs that were going to be easy to support. "With the
EIZO being the only LCD we looked at with no separate power supply,
we knew our lives were going to be made so much easier. We knew we
could then just plug them in and they would work. There wasn't going
to be any need to change or redevelop anything. The extremely slim
bezel also helped make the panel a good looking monitor." |

| "The decision was almost instant", said Keith. "The
only issue we had was some users required the screen to be at a different
height, so we used the EIZO height adjustable stand and we had the
perfect display solution to meet all our users' requirements". |

Instant Installation
The rollout of the new EIZO, L465 took place over a week and a half.
"We had no problems whatsoever with installing the panels. The
only problem was when we dropped one!", Keith stated. "The
process was simple and easy". |

Panels to Suit All Requirements
The majority of the project was for general office use, however, there
has been some specialist requirements from the graphic designers and
the marketing team, who require bigger and brighter screens. "The
EIZO, 21.3", L985EX is perfect for these users. It is the size
and has the resolution that our designers need", said Keith. |

"As well as being on people's desks throughout, the EIZO monitors
have been placed in reception as well as onto hotdesks. The fact they
take up very little space is perfect for these kind of environments.
Users will find just the EIZO panel on the desk, so all they need
to do is plug in their laptops". |

EIZO is the Future
"With a further number of employees coming to the Portland Street
offices later this year. More LCDs will be required to kit out another
floor in the building to house these new staff. There is no doubt
that I will be kitting out this new requirement with EIZO. I don't
have to think about EIZO, I know they work, why should I change?"

With the success of the EIZO monitors purchased for the Portland Street
office, another division of the company is now requiring LCDs to replace
their current CRTs. "People love their EIZO monitors. One of
the Directors has even got one at home!", said Keith. |
