  JP Morgan Fleming Asset Management

"EIZO has provided us with exceptional visual display products for almost any use."
March 5, 2001 11:30a.m. - Henry Hudson

Quality, Ergonomic & Energy Efficient Displays
When your group supports asset management activities in today's volatile markets - your computer systems must be highly reliable. That is why Henry Hudson, Vice President of Technology, relies on EIZO's advanced technology products for the JP Morgan Fleming Asset Management Group in Texas. The image quality, ease of installation, value and excellent reliability of EIZO's product line all exceed JP Morgan Chase & Company's stringent systems requirements.

JP Morgan Chase & Company is a worldwide financial services conglomerate. The company's investment management groups require the highest-quality products and services. "We must have computer technology that is well advanced and can ensure a high-reliability rate," stated Hudson. "If our computer systems fail for one minute, it can cost the company thousands." Therefore, JP Morgan Fleming Asset Management utilizes EIZO for a full spectrum of professional display monitor solutions, including eClient, LCD flat screens and high-end plasma displays.

Why JP Morgan Fleming Asset Management Specifies EIZO Products
When JP Morgan Fleming Asset Management needed a one-piece thin client solution, they turned to EIZO. "We liked the size, weight, and mechanics of the EIZO products," stated Rob Fleischer, technical manager. "The eClient 530L's WBT-LCD integrated design was the convenient all-in-one solution we were looking for. The other products we looked at had too many pieces."

Reception Area
JP Mogran Flerming Asset Management chose high-end EIZO P5070 Plasma displays for its custom designed reception area.

In addition, JP Morgan Fleming Asset Management is pleased with the portability of EIZO's eClient in their Windows CE and MetaFrame network. "It is so easy to use, and it only takes 2-3 minutes to install and fire up," explains Fleischer. Further, JP Morgan Fleming Asset Management was impressed with the eClient's zero-failure rate, since their previous experience with clones produced an intolerable failure rate.

"We have faith that these monitors will last us 10years, and will be a hugecost-savings to us." - Henry Hudson, UP Morgan Fleming Asset ManagementAdditionally, JP Morgan Fleming Asset Management has deployed EIZO"s 18.1" FlexScan LCDs in trading floors worldwide. The EIZO monitor's dual input feature allows two computers to be connected to one LCD and with the flip of the input priority switch, both computers can function using the same LCD. This feature eliminates setting up a second monitor, and is especially beneficial on the trading floors. "Much like all of the features of the EIZO products, we find the dual input feature boosts our company's efficiency," explained Fleischer.

JP Morgan Fleming Asset Management's Disaster Recovery Center & The eClient Solution
Should disaster occur, JP Morgan Fleming Asset Management is confident in it's disaster recovery system utilizing EIZO eClients to allow trading and support for clients with little or no disruption. Instead of having a large number of PCs with CRTs to support the recovery system, the flat panel displays easily sit to the side of each work area allowing plenty of space for the current PC/monitor system. This allowed us to host our disaster recovery system in our current building without having to expand.
