Multitouch Interface with Windows 7Both intuitive and enjoyable to work with, multitouch lets you tap, scroll, drag, pinch, spin, etc. with your fingers instead of a mouse and keyboard. This monitor is compatible with Windows 7 and the growing number of multitouch applications supported by this OS.
LaidBack Stand for a Comfortable Multitouch Experience
Rather than outfit a current desktop monitor with multitouch capabilities, EIZO designed the FlexScan T1751 as a multitouch monitor with a new cabinet design and a unique LaidBack stand. With this stand, the bottom of the monitor bezel rests on the desktop like a notebook PC and tilts back in six stages from 15° to 65°. When seated, this allows you to look almost directly down at the screen and comfortably touch it with your elbows resting on the desktop. Durable ConstructionThis touch technology employs two infrared optical sensors in the corners of the screen and detects very light touch from a bare or gloved hand as well as a touch pen. It has a non-scratch surface made of reinforced glass with a hardness of 5.5 Mohs to ensure it is durable enought to withstand use in schools and public access areas. Wide Viewing AnglesThe FlexScan T1751 uses a VA (vertical alignment) panel with wide 178° viewing angles. This ensures two people can comfortably view the screen while sitting side-by-side such as in a school setting.

Preset Modes for Optimum Viewing
For optimum viewing of different kinds of content, EIZO’s Fine Contrast function includes modes for word-processing applications (Text mode), web browsing (sRGB mode), and user-defined settings (Custom mode). A fourth mode called EyeCare mode lowers brightness to a mere 3 cd/m2. This mode helps prevent eye fatigue in an environment with little or no lighting. DVI-D, and D-Sub Inputs DVI-D and D-Sub inputs allow connection to PCs with digital and analog graphics boards respectively. 10-Bit Gamma CorrectionThis technology ensures smooth, accurate color tones by converting the 8-bit PC data to 10-bit, assigning the ideal gamma values, then returning the data to 8-bit format for display. Optimized BrightnessTwo functions ensures stable brightness which is necessary for the proper display of color. The first is drift correction circuit that quickly stabilizes the brightness level after startup or coming out of power saving mode. The second is an ambient brightness sensor called Auto EcoView that detects changes in the ambient brightness and signals the backlight to adjust the screen brightness accordingly so it is never too dark or too bright. Energy Efficiency GaugeTo encourage environmental consciousness while working, a user-activated gauge called EcoView Index indicates energy consumption in correlation with the screen’s brightness. The more EcoView Index is fully illuminated, the monitor is operating at optimum energy efficiency. Medical StandardsThe FlexScan T1751 complies with stringent medical safety standards including the CE Medical Device Directive, EN60601-1, and UL60601-1.
