Glasses-Free 3D Monitor
The DuraVision FDF2301-3D produces stereoscopic (3D) images without glasses. In an industrial or academic environment where the FDF 2301-3D might be used for several hours at a time or in tandem with a 2D monitor, this saves you from having to wear cumbersome 3D glasses.

Full High-Definition Display
EIZO’s directional backlight and a frame rate of 120 Hz display images in 3D at the panel’s native resolution with 1920 horizontal dots. Because it can maintain the high-resolution horizontal dot pitch necessary for 3D display, the monitor produces realistic stereoscopic images with excellent depth perception.
No Moiré, Stripe Noise, or Pseudoscopic Images
The FDF2301-3D does not produce the moiré or stripe noise often seen with 3D monitors that require glasses. Furthermore, the pseudoscopic images that result when right and left parallax images invert depending on the viewing angle are also not an issue.
Large 23" Screen
With EIZO’s patented elliptical mirror technology, the advantages of the directional backlight can be applied to a relatively large screen.
DVI-D 24-Pin and VESA Stereo Sync 3-Pin Connectors
One dual link and one single link DVI-D 24-Pin connector are included. In addition, a VESA Stereo Sync 3-pin connector that synchronizes signals so right and left parallax images are displayed properly when outputted from a graphics board that also supports VESA Stereo Sync.

3D Image Modes
In addition to a 120 Hz Frame Sequential mode, three other modes are included – Anaglyph, Dual Input, and Side-by-Side.
Frame Sequential
Right and left parallax images are alternately shown at a frame rate of 120 Hz.

Anaglyph
Monochrome images from the left and right eyes are combined as red and blue respectively and transmitted as color signals. The red and blue parts are then separated and converted to monochrome images and allocated as left and right parallax images. Frame rates of up to 60 Hz are supported.

Dual Input
The signals of right and left parallax images are transmitted by different cables. The frequency and resolution of the signals are the same and support refresh rates of up to 60 Hz. When the right and left 3D signals are independent of each other, the two DVI-D 24-pin connectors on the monitor support dual input.
The two DVI-D 24-pin connectors cannot be used for accepting signals from two computers.

Side by Side
The monitor receives right and left parallax images, splits them into two, doubles their size horizontally, and alternately displays them as right and left parallax images. Because the images are doubled in size horizontally, their horizontal resolution is halved.
Compliance with Safety and Environmental Standards
The DuraVision FDF2301-3D complies with many international standards includuing RoHS, CB, and the CE Mark.
