Summer 2007 - Oceania Edition

Dear Eizo Partner
Well it has been another hectic year filled with new products and technology, tradeshows and events and business trips. Now we are all looking forward to a well deserved break. But before we leave for holidays, we would like to share some Eizo news with you. And we'd like to thank you for your support and interest throughout the year - we couldn't have done it without you.

Finally Turning 30...

Flexscan SX3031W.....After years in careful development, our 30" WIDE SCREENS have arrived. EIZO have developed and hand picked special S-PVA panels that teamed with the EIZO chip, can portray the PURE WHITE needed for correct colour, (further explained below). Then we've added a layer of DUE (Digital Uniformity Equalization) - resulting in a most rare thing - a 30" display with even brightness and chroma.

ColorEdge 30" CG301W - The holy grail of LCD
*Set in portrait mode and soft proof an entire press sheet *Plug in two computers and view both screens at once *Uniformity (DUE) equipped *Hardware calibration enabled and gamma individually set at factory for extremely accurate profiling * Adobe RGB 1998 colour space *16-bit colour processing for perfect calibration *Ambient light hood included. What more could you ask for? Stocks available early 08.

Do you have trouble explaining colour management to your colleagues? Do you understand how an EIZO will help predict your output? Why not read our locally produced article "EIZO Monitors - Explained" - an easy and interesting read. Simply go to this web address and download ..............

DID YOU KNOW
In an LCD Display, PURE RED + PURE BLUE + PURE GREEN should = PURE WHITE. This is the only way to achieve a neutral result for accurate colour. But this is very hard to achieve in LCD technology, and rarely happens. EIZO achieve pure white by teaming the best panel and backlight combination with the EIZO patented ASIC chip.

GROWING UP and MOVING OUT OF HOME
Thanks to all of you, we have grown too big for the premesis that we share with our parent company, Itochu. So we're moving out of home. Beginning from March we will be trading from a new building in St Leonards - on the other side of the bridge. We have three entire levels of space, including our own warehouse, and mezannine level training room which you may use for seminars and events. We can't wait to get settled.

EIZO's new home

From all of us at EIZO, we wish you a safe and happy festive season.

**We have sent this newsletter to you because we have spoken with you in the past. We hope you found it informative. If you prefer not to receive such communications in the future, please drop us an email (sales@eizo.com.au).
